The Little will screen Dreamcatcher (Kim Longinotto, U.K. / U.S. 2015, 104 min.) as part of the Women's History Month: Honoring Women In Public Service series.

Brenda Myers-Powell called herself 'Breezy' for twenty-five years while she worked as a drug-addicted teenage prostitute. After a violent encounter with a "john" which put her in the hospital, Brenda decided to change her life completely and now she is an advocate of change in her Chicago community. "Dreamcatcher" follows Brenda as she enters the lives of young women and examines the cycle of exploitation, violence, and neglect that led many of them to prostitution. Brenda gives hope to young women and girls who want to change their lives.
