Growing up in Rochester my whole life, I've always been surrounded by family and friends that have held a deep appreciation for roots and string music. A musical tradition that is more of a calling to those that play it than a past time. Half history and half art form old time music gives a voice to those that have come before us. So for over the past year I've dedicated my self to the clawhammer banjo to carry on a tradition and to channel the spirit of these songs.
