The Midwestern Swing is a Cincinnati based band inspired by the great Western Swing bands of the 40s, 50s and 60s. Stepped in country, jazz and a love for song, The Midwestern Swing is equal parts tradition and modernity. The Midwestern Swing's sound centers around the dual lead melody lines of the Pedal Steel Guitar of Cameron Cochran, one of the young rising stars in the steel world, and the Jazz Guitar of Nick Fryer, held together by rhythm and lead guitarist and Cincinnati mainstay Brad Myers.
