In the Central Library's Lower Link Gallery is a reception for the 5th Annual International Juried Art of the Book Exhibit, on display through January 3.

The Art of the Book exhibit displays artist books and altered books from book artists around the world. You will see how book artists take an already existing book and turn it into a creative work of art. Altered book artists create books using existing objects like a globe or a box, they may use fabric, thread, metal and other materials. This exhibit runs from October 29, 2015 through January 3, 2016.
