How's Your "Sugar?" discussion

2015-Oct-29 @ 12:10 - 12:50
Free

In the Kate Gleason Auditorium of the Bausch and Lomb Library Building is a discussion with Elizabeth McKinley titled How's Your "Sugar?"

Are you or someone you love at risk for diabetes? Well, many people are, and don't even know it! Join us at the Central Library for this encore presentation of How's Your "Sugar," back by popular demand. We will examine what diabetes is, who gets it, and how it is prevented, diagnosed, and managed. Our presenter once again is Elizabeth McKinley, a nurse practitioner from the University of Rochester Medical Center. Everyone is welcome to bring their own lunch, or feel free to grab one of the snacks provided. This Got Health talk will be followed by a free raffle, with prizes that can help you maintain a healthy lifestyle.
