Don't Live for Your Student Loans lecture
2016-Feb-04 @ 19:00 - 20:00
The Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Rochester will present a lecture titled Don't Live for Your Student Loans at Irondequoit Public Library. (Note: not covered is how to pay back your student loans when the only job you can get doesn't pay enough to live on, but prevents you from continuing to defer the insurmountable debt.)
The average college student graduates with approximately $27,000 in student loan debt. This program will educate how to handle student loans, the benefits of paying loans off faster, the helpful payoff programs that are available through the federal loan program, and how to maximize repayment efforts. Materials and handouts with practical resources and useful tools will be provided.
