Democrat and Chronicle reporter Justin Murphy and about 600 fellow bicycle riders took a 400-mile trip along the Erie Canal from Buffalo to Albany. The riders rode 40-60 miles a day, and Justin chronicled the trip, their fellow riders, people they met and animal life they observed along the way. Justin Murphy rode his bicycle as part of a multimedia reporting project. He will talk about the canal and his experience and show a video from the trip.
