540WMain Community Arts Education and Cultural Center will host a screening of 13th (Ava DuVernay, U.S. 2016, 100 min.) along with a discussion.

Workshop #1 seeks to educate individuals to the truths that may help them iidentify within themselves, the hatred that creates the "isms", of life, allowing them to resolve their "isms" from a personal perspective. We will watch Ava' Duvernay's 2016 American documentary 13th. The film explores the "intersection of race, justice and mass incarceration in the United States."
