Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and NY Hemplab have partnered to co-host Cannabusiness: Digging Deeper. This follow up to the popular Rochester Trends "Cannabusiness: Capitalizing on the Cannabis Economy" event, will further examine the regulation of the emerging hemp and cannabis industries following the 2019 NYS Legislative Session. We will dig deeper into the differences between hemp and "marijuana", the existing and proposed hemp legislation, what decriminalization means and how a State Office of Cannabis Management would impact how cannabis may be regulated, including licensing, financial and tax implications.
