Business First Wednesdays—Marketing class

Free workshops for business professionals and aspiring business owners. The Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County and the College at Brockport's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) present "First Wednesdays," a free monthly series of programs for business professionals and aspiring business owners. The programs take place the first Wednesday of each month from September through June at the Central Library's Rundel Auditorium on the 3rd floor of the Rundel Building from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Each month seasoned professionals offer guidance on start-ups, procurement opportunities, legal considerations, marketing, record keeping, and more. Since their start in 1987, the expert advisors of the Brockport Sbdc have worked directly with 17,966 businesses, helping them to invest $158,501,353 in the area's economy, and create or save 6,432 jobs. The Central Library's Small Business Information Center supports the needs of entrepreneurs as well as current business owners by providing them with the most up to date market research, industry profiles, and demographic data in addition to an extensive book collection covering all aspects of business from accounting to social media.
