In the Kate Gleason Auditorium of the Bausch and Lomb Library BuildingOnline only, Sanford R. Shapiro, Esq. will review Thomas Paine and the Clarion Call to American Independence by Harlow Giles Unger.

Thomas Paine, an Englishman who emigrated to the American colonies, formed close friendships with Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison. His ideas helped shape the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights, and he was often called the "muse of the American Revolution."
