Bobby Henrie and the Goners play authentic rockabilly and roots rock'n'roll in the tradition of musicians that defined the genre in the 1950s; Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Johnny Burnett….. In their lean trio format, the Goners are respectful of the music that preceded and influenced early rock'n'roll and are equally comfortable with country, blues and swing. Their vast repertoire includes a mix of rarefied songs and instrumentals performed with sincere excitement, freshness and finesse. Their vocals are laced with stacked harmonies in the tradition of the Moonglows, Flamingos, Jordanares and Clovers. This working band has been together for 30 years. An evening spent with Bobby Henrie and the Goners will be remembered for many years to come.
