This is an opening celebration of the new studio space in the Anderson Arts Building (#214). There will be an installation of fabricated objects and screen prints created by me, Bill Klingensmith—MYDARNDEST. The concept of this work is how the City of Rochester refers to itself as the "flauË™(-?)r" city. Opening the interpretation up to the receiver. No one is wrong with their answer: Flower or Flour. The divide to which one or the other as better/correct still falsely resonates today. The fact is our city actually has a strong history in both, creating One city.
