The Rape of Lucrece reading

$10Starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Rochester Brainery, Aspie Works presents a staged reading of William Shakespeare's The Rape of Lucrece.
Written in 1594 and set in ancient Rome, 509 B.C., Shakespeare tells the story of the title character, a royal noblewoman whose encounter with the son of the emperor Tarquin leads to tragic and revolutionary results. The reading features an all-female ensemble including Lauren Leone Baker, Fiona Criddle, Nancy K. Fancher, Susanna Rose Guarino, Cassandra Lamantia, Jacqueline Moe and Haven Shea, under the direction of Aspie Works founder Justin Rielly. A post-show discussion will follow.
