Examining the relationships between Pan-African culture, science fiction, intergalactic travel, and rapidly progressing computer technology, the film is preceded by a new, live science-fiction Skype performance by artist Dana McKnight, followed by Amanda Strong's Mia' (2015), a stop-motion animated film of a young Indigenous female street artist who has found her own ways to root herself to the supernatural history of her Wuikinuxv ancestry.
