To complement each film, The Little hosts discussions led by RABJ members, local experts, community leaders, and filmmakers after each series screening.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the novel written by James Baldwin, and directed by Academy Award winner Barry Jenkins (Moonlight).<\/p>\n<p>In early 1970s Harlem, daughter and wife-to-be Tish vividly recalls the passion, respect and trust that have connected her and her artist fianc&eacute; Alonzo Hunt, who goes by the nickname Fonny.
