Hamburger<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myspace.com\/dummydestroy\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jayceland.com\/images\/MySpace_13x13overFFFFFF.gif\" border=\"0\" alt=\"MySpace link\" width=\"13\" height=\"13\" \/><\/a> was providing projected video over the bands.  Starting out was <strong>The Leaky Boat Blues<\/strong> which was Tim from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.geocities.com\/awonderfulpurchase\/home\">A Wonderful<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myspace.com\/awonderful\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jayceland.com\/images\/MySpace_13x13overFFFFFF.gif\" border=\"0\" alt=\"MySpace link\" width=\"13\" height=\"13\" \/><\/a>.  He played some great acoustic that I really liked.  Next was a nearly minimal version of <strong>Baby Shiver's Boutique<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myspace.com\/babyshiversboutique\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jayceland.com\/images\/MySpace_13x13overFFFFFF.gif\" border=\"0\" alt=\"MySpace link\" width=\"13\" height=\"13\" \/><\/a>.  I have to make it a point to see these guys more often &mdash; their \"motley folk\" music is enhanced by their singer's crystal clear and ever-so-melancholic voice.  Finishing up the night was <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.autumninhalifax.com\/\">Autumn In Halifax<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myspace.com\/autumninhalifax\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jayceland.com\/images\/MySpace_13x13overFFFFFF.gif\" border=\"0\" alt=\"MySpace link\" width=\"13\" height=\"13\" \/><\/a> &mdash; just Dave this time accompanied by the electronic-boxes form of the Leaves.  His luscious, poetic acoustic rock always cracks open some inner creativity and I'm left longing for the night to never end.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I stopped by The Bug Jar (219 Monroe Ave.) for the show &mdash; one I was quite excited about.
