I was looking to finally see <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/benproctor.com\/varnishcooks\">The Varnish Cooks<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myspace.com\/thevarnishcooks\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jayceland.com\/images\/MySpace_13x13overFFFFFF.gif\" alt=\"MySpace link\" border=\"0\" height=\"13\" width=\"13\" \/><\/a> but they weren't playing &mdash; instead, the show started with <strong>City Harvest Black<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myspace.com\/cityharvestblack\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jayceland.com\/images\/MySpace_13x13overFFFFFF.gif\" alt=\"MySpace link\" border=\"0\" height=\"13\" width=\"13\" \/><\/a> which is a guy in a white mask with horns doing noise-based loops and haunting voices.  I liked it but it's not the kind of music that has a huge following.  Next was <strong>Horseback<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myspace.com\/horsebacknoise\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jayceland.com\/images\/MySpace_13x13overFFFFFF.gif\" alt=\"MySpace link\" border=\"0\" height=\"13\" width=\"13\" \/><\/a> who do rich, thick atmospheric instrumental followed by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.miketamburo.com\/\">Mike Tamburo<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myspace.com\/tamburo\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jayceland.com\/images\/MySpace_13x13overFFFFFF.gif\" alt=\"MySpace link\" border=\"0\" height=\"13\" width=\"13\" \/><\/a> who started out with a hammer dulcimer &mdash; I think &mdash; and had a light, airy, atmospheric presence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I headed out to Boulder Coffee Co.
