Throughout the 1960s and '70s\, de Antonio made a series of potent political documentaries\, in the midst of which he filmed Painters Painting\, in which he interviews artists in their studios—among them Barnett Newman\, Willem de Kooning\, Robert Rauschenberg\, Jasper Johns\, and Frank Stella. One interview stands out from all the rest: Warhol\, who sits on a couch beside Factory denizen Brigid Berlin facing a mirror. Based on the eponymous novel by Bohdan Czeszko\, A Generation paints a detailed psychological profile of a young rebel who is forced to embrace adulthood prematurely by joining the underground communist resistance. DESCRIPTION:Greentopia is excited to announce that it will be participating in the City of Rochester's River Romance event with the launch of Rochester's new EcoDistrict! The EcoDistrict provides a framework for the High Falls Neighborhood to move towards ambitious environmental and social justice goals. To celebrate this launch we will be holding an EcoFair and beginning our first EcoDistrict project.  Our launch project\, the first of many in the EcoDistrict\, is the revitalization of a greenspace beside the gorge which is envisioned to become a part of an "EcoLoop" walking trail. From 12-2pm\, volunteers will gather in the EcoDistrict to clean\, weed\, and plant at along the Genesee Riverway Trail.  Our EcoFair will be a chance to learn how businesses\, nonprofits\, municipalities\, and citizens are making Rochester more resilient.
