DESCRIPTION:The Cinema will host a Blessing of the animals. Help raise funds for two worthy rescue groups. Bring your pets to the Cinema for a blessing! Our excellent accounting consultant\, Christopher Hennelly\, is organizing a neighborhood event\, fundraiser to benefit animals (thanks\, Christopher!). October 4th is the celebration day for St. Francis of Assisi\, the patron saint of animals. The Cinema will host a blessing of the animals starting at 5:30 P.M. There is no charge for the blessing\, but there will be a silent auction to raise funds. Afterwards\, bring your pets home\, then come back to the Cinema by 7:00 p.m. to watch a classic movie from Franco Zeffirelli: Brother Sun\, Sister Moon (1972)\, about the life of St. Francis.
