DESCRIPTION:Fred Lonberg-Holm (cello + electronics) and Aaron Zarzutzki (homemade instruments + electronics) have long associations with the Chicago (and beyond) free-improv\, rock and abstract music communities.  Fred has studied and worked with Pauline Oliveros\, Anthony Braxton\, Ken Vandermark\, Jim O'Rourke\, The Boxhead Ensemble and Wilco as well as groups under his own direction like the Lightbox Orchestra.  Aaron is a unique improvisor working with modular synthesizers\, turntables\, homemade electronics and acoustic instruments along with bizarre homemade amplifiers built out of drums\, clipboards and other non-traditional objects.
