His films are also dubbed or remade into other regional languages but always wonderfully retain the essence of original. While watching any film envisioned by Ratnam\, one is assured to experience a visual treat\, exceptional music and background score via his longtime collaborator A. R. Rahman\, and a love story veiled amidst the calamity pertinent to contemporary sociopolitical Indian scenario.
