DESCRIPTION:In the Dryden Theatre\, Ahndraya Parlato\, and Gregory Halpern will discuss their collaborative project East of the Sun\, West of the Moon.  \nAhndraya Parlato and Gregory Halpern will discuss their collaborative project East of the Sun\, West of the Moon\, comprising photographs they took on the solstices and equinoxes of 2012 and 2013. The photographers will also share stories from their individual publications. Parlato's A Spectacle and Nothing Strange draws on the artist's experience of being raised by a single mother who was mentally ill. The photographs imagine a world where differing realities may exist while questioning the boundaries of normal\, abnormal\, sane\, and insane.
