The exhibition will include archival materials\, documentary video screening\, and a display of photographs by volunteers and staff. DESCRIPTION:The Dryden will screen Ocean (Charles Atlas\, Merce Cunningham\, U.S. 2010\, 100 min.\, digital) with Charles Atlas in person.  \nWith Ocean\, pioneering film and video artist Charles Atlas captures the breathtaking 2008 performances of Merce Cunningham's seminal dance work of the same title. Completed in 1994\, Cunningham's 90-minute opus is an homage to composer John Cage and novelist James Joyce. Similarly\, Atlas's film serves as an ode to his four-decade collaboration with Cunningham\, who died in 2009\, before the film was finished.
