He is a former staff writer for the Washington Post\, and his journalism and criticism have been published in leading national newspapers and magazines. As the author of such works as To an Unknown God: Religious Freedom on Trial; Ten Right-Wing Myths About Our Constitution\, and American Justice 2014: Nine Clashing Visions on the Supreme Court\, he brings an uniquely insightful and informed perspective to the understanding of issues regarding church-state separation.
