Isabel Kaplan will present a What's Up Lecture on Glass Art at the Memorial Art Gallery.

Kaplan's background is in science, and she was the engineering and earth sciences librarian at the University of Rochester for nearly 25 years until she retired in 2007. Her interest in glass dates back to the Tiffany stained glass windows and other objects in the 2012 exhibition In Company with Angels. "I always ask myself, 'how did they Do that stuff?'"
