Dr. J. Richard Ciccone will discuss his journey to find his grandfather who was a mystery to him. Translating his grandfather's epic poem about his experiences in WWI provided the key to solving the mystery. Dr. Ciccone will explore how his grandfather's particular story reflects the universal experience of the combat soldier and some of the effects of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder.
