Nathaniel Ayers was a former Julliard student who was homeless in LA and playing a two-string violin under a bridge when Steve Lopez, a journalist, came across him. As Lopez tells Ayers' story in print, the community gets involved and the two men form an unlikely, but life-changing relationship.
