The Dryden will screen The Muppet Movie (James Frawley, U.K./U.S. 1979, 95 min., 35mm).

Compelled to leave his swamp to pursue a dream of stardom, Kermit the Frog makes a long and funny journey to Hollywood. Along the way, he makes friends with Fozzie Bear and the Great Gonzo and finds love in the arms of Miss Piggy, all while eluding evil frog-leg restaurateur Doc Hopper (Charles Durning).
