The Dryden will screen The Iron Giant (Brad Bird, U.S. 1999, 86 min., 35mm).

Based on a story by poet Ted Hughes, the tale of a giant robot from outer space and his young protector Hogarth is both a hilarious send-up of 1950s mores and a heartwarming portrait of friendship, tenderness, and humanity. The voice talents include Jennifer Aniston, Harry Connick Jr., and Vin Diesel, as the title character.
