Much of The Hunger's cult success can be attributed to its ingenious casting of ethereal Catherine Deneuve and David Bowie as an undead couple of star-crossed lovers on a perennial quest for human blood, attempting again and again to solve the mystery not of eternal life, but eternal youth.
