Funds raised by from this event go toward the purchase of microchip identification tags, diagnostic tests, and subsidizing spay and neuter surgeries and pet adoptions. All of these are crucial to help reunite lost pets with their owners, create incentives for adopting shelter pets, and minimizing the numbers of stray and unwanted animals entering the shelter in the future.
