The Bop Shop will screen The Cover Story — Album Art (Eric Christensen, U.S. 2013, 111 min.)

"The Cover Story — Album Art" chronicles the stories behind some of the iconic album covers of the 12 inch LP era. The story behind the controversial Blind Faith album cover featuring a topless eleven year old girl, who for the first time (some 45 years later) discusses how she feels about the historic cover. The Nirvana baby, Yoko Ono, Storm Thorgerson, Roger Dean, Stanley Mouse, Victor Moscoso, Jim Marshall, and Henry Diltz (among others) discuss their contributions to this all but gone art form. Are we losing artifact in the age of digital downloads is also discussed.
