In the Kusler-Cox Auditorium at the Central Library, Brae Adams will present a lecture titled The "Clobber" Passages.

Depending on the translation used, 6 or 7 Biblical passages are commonly cited as explicitly condemning homosexual acts. All of these passages are open for interpretation, leading to controversy over the original intent of the text. Brae Adams will lead an exploration of these passages, discussing the different manners of interpretation and placing them within the context in which they were originally written.
