The Architecture of James H. Johnson

2019-May-14 @ 19:00 - 21:00

During his career in Rochester, architect James Johnson was acclaimed for several of his unusual designs, including the Liberty Pole, the "Mushroom House," Temple Sinai and St. John the Evangelist Church in the town of Greece. Most of his other projects received little attention.

Christopher Brandt and Katie Comeau spent 18 months exploring Johnson's work. They will be sharing what they learned in this talk featuring new and old photographs of Johnson's projects.
