You may have heard of it, seen it, or even participated in it in the past! The Great Rochester Tweed Ride will roll out on its 7th official embarkment from Wadsworth Square Park on Sunday October 23rd! Also, don't forget to like our page for further Tweed and Seersucker Ride updates, share our event, and invite your friends! The more the merrier. Dust off those old fatigues, dig through that cedar chest, or paw through some mothballed items! This ride is as much about fun as it is about fashion. If there's a "bad" #tweed suit in your family, you might win a prize for sporting it on this ride! We aim to be as refinedly retro as possible, so break out your (throwback!) Sunday best and come see the city with us! This is also the perfect opportunity to break out your classiest #bicycle, so be sure to make sure those old three speeds are in good working order! The tweed ride is a celebration of olde timeyness, fall, #community, and cycling. As such, we encourage all participants to come prepared for cool weather, a leisurely ~10+ mile ride, and to be ready to meet new friends! At our meet up after the ride, prizes will be awarded for best dressed male and female, best hair (facial or "updo"), and for the "best" bike! This year's ride will also feature the nail biting excitement of the slow race, and a prize for the slowest of turtles!
