The American Saxophone Academy is taught by five American saxophone artists and teachers: Chien-Kwan Lin (Eastman School of Music), Carrie Koffman (The Hartt School), Timothy McAllister (University of Michigan), Otis Murphy (Indiana University), Kenneth Tse (University of Iowa) with special guest faculty Dr. John Sampen (Distinguished Artist Professor of Saxophone, Bowling Green University). The week-long program is designed for advanced college students and above, with participants working closely with the faculty in a variety of settings including lessons, master classes, and ensembles.
