The Dryden will screen Star Trek: The Motion Picture (Robert Wise, U.S. 1979, 132 min., 35mm).

A decade after the original television series ended, the crew of the USS Enterprise reunited for this big-budget, big-screen version. Now an admiral, Kirk takes control of his starship once again to pursue a mysterious, deadly force headed toward Earth. This special screening is celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the original TV series, which started airing on NBC on September 8, 1966.
