Serendipity is a trio formed in Irondequoit, New York, in 2015. The band consists of David Eckstrand, lead vocalist; Tracy Eckstrand, singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist; and Tim Thomas, bassist. Serendipity plays folk rock, classic rock, and original songs. The name, Serendipity, which means, "making a fortunate discovery by accident," refers to the coming together of the band members last year.
