The Dryden will screen Rear Window (Alfred Hitchcock, U.S. 1954, 113 min., 35mm), preceded by Fast Film (Virgil Widrich, Austria/Luxemburg 2003, 14 min., 35mm), "one of the fastest and most furious films ever made, an animated homage to motion pictures, handmade by folding 65,000 individual film frames into three dimensional objects."

Injured and homebound in his Manhattan apartment, photographer (and voyeur) James Stewart witnesses what he thinks is foul play while peeping in on his neighbors. With the help of friends, the stationary Stewart gets to the bottom of the mystery, but not before placing himself and girlfriend Grace Kelly in serious danger.
