The Flower City Arts Center will host an Opening Reception for Thou Art… Will Give… by Eric Kunsman, on display through October 26.

Thou Art… Will Give… is an exhibition of photographs by Eric Kunsman documenting the Eastern State Penitentiary, a former prison in Philadelphia, PA. Through this body of photographs Eric offers some of the atmosphere experienced by the prisoners when the Penitentiary was active. Photographs of entries from the Warden's 1800s logbooks blend with Eric's photographs to give a historical sense of the prisoners and their treatment. Through these images and text, visitors can share some of loneliness, hopelessness, and desperate search for redemption that drove many of the spirits still trapped within the walls of Eastern State.
