The Flower City Arts Center will host an Opening Reception for Photography and Politics, on display through December 14.

How can images not only document political events but themselves be political acts? Question politics around them? React, subvert politics? Imagine a better world so it can be executed? Historically, artists reflect their contemporary moment. Photography and Politics is a nationally juried show by Stephanie Mercedes reflecting on how photographs can be pushed further.
