If These Walls Could Talk screening

2016-Feb-08 @ 19:00 - 20:00

Free

The Dryden will screen the short, locally-produced film If These Walls Could Talk (Matthew Spaull, U.S. 2016) followed by a discussion.

Based on and inspired by actual events and featuring Rochester talent, this film celebrates the resiliency and determination, the talent and the creativity, of young men facing homelessness and living in a transitional living center. This aspirational "narrative improvisation" is an authentic portrayal of both the struggles and the opportunities. Presented by The Center for Youth with support from At&T, the film is directed by Matthew Spaull of Northlight Productions with a team of RIT students. Sponsored by WDKX. The film will be followed by an interactive panel discussion with the actors and the production team. [source: George Eastman Museum website, 2016-Feb-8]
