Humanities Center Public Lecture, Jennifer Lackey, "Extracted Evidence: False Confessions and Testimonial Injustice"
2019-Feb-07 @ 17:00 - 18:00
FreeWhy do confessions often swamp all other evidence in the United States criminal justice system? This normative framework adapted from philosophy allows social scientists and legal scholars to better understand the wrongs suffered due to false confessions.
