Human Book Library/Human History Project

Penfield Public Library will be participating in a mini Human Book Library/Human History project in an attempt to dispel human prejudices and steretypes [sic]. Its purpose is to bring people together from all walks of life to celebrate the richness of diversity. To date our panelists include: Gabrielle Hermosa, a Transgender advocate; Njeru Murage, born in Kenya and Associate Professor of Anthropology, History, Political Science, and Sociology at Monroe Community College; Virginia H. Graham, and Robert Willard Robert Willard, a Keuka College adjunct professor discussing his life in the People's Republic of China after the post Mao era and Virginia H. Graham, newsletter editor of the Rochester Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America and a cochlear implant recipient. Bring your questions and be prepared for an engaging conversation.
