This film about a large urban high school records the daily activities and the policies and attitudes which shape the institution. The ideology and values of the school emerge through a series of formal and informal encounters among students, parents, and teachers in guidance sessions, college counseling, disciplinary and faculty meetings, corridor patrol, and athletic, classroom, and extracurricular activities.
