The Cinema will screen Finding Happiness (Ted Nicolaou, U.S. 2014, 96 min.)

Finding Happiness is a film that captures a joyful reality. With a unique story directly from the heart and soul of each person who has lived it. Told through the eyes of a New York investigative journalist, Finding Happiness takes us on a journey to see how people can live in harmony, collaboration, compassion, cooperation, peace and love together in a conscious community called Ananda — which means 'joy'.

Essentially a slickly produced recruitment film for Ananda. Kind of clunky at times because of several non-professional cast members struggling to deliver their lines. The production values are outstanding and Elisabeth Rohm really shines in the starring role (although a lot of this may be due to the fact that she is clearly a well trained actress surrounded by amateurs). It is basically well executed propaganda that no doubt cost it's backers a rather substantial sum.
