Steve Baczkowski and Bill Sack are heavy hitting free-improv weirdos from Buffalo. Both use extended technique to a point of parody: Baczkowski's overblowing on various saxes often ends up sounding electronic in origin and Sack's spazzy guitar work is punctuated by brassy exasperated grunts. Neither your pappy's free jazz nor your teenie bopper's harsh noise!
