[Yasmina] Reza's play explores the funny, emotional and existential consequences that challenge three longtime friends, in Paris, when one of them purchases an expensive work of modern art. Serge, (played by native Rochesterian and Broadway actor Mark A. Davis) is a successful dermatologist whose newfound passions for obtaining modern art flies unnervingly in the face of his best friend and self-proclaimed mentor Marc (Chris Felo). A third friend, the neurotic, groom-to-be, Yvan (Jim Orr) attempts to smooth things over between them. The vacillating allegiances between the three friends provides an evening of genuine hilarity as one friend, then the other, begin to wage an, at first subtle, then all out explosive and vindictive campaign to stand righteous above the others even at the cost of the demolition of their enduring friendship.
