In the Kate Gleason Auditorium of the Bausch and Lomb Library Building is a lecture by Karen Chalanick titled Can't Sleep? What to Do if You're Counting Sheep.

Are you constantly struggling to fall or stay asleep? Well, you are certainly not alone. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimate that 50-70 million Americans suffer from some sort of sleep disorder. If you or a loved one need tips on getting a better night's sleep, come check out our next Got Health talk! Karen Chalanick, a nurse practitioner from the University of Rochester Medical Center, will discuss the purpose of sleep, what is and is not normal sleep behavior, factors that contribute to sleep problems, and treatment options.
